Processing Time Policy:
At The Magic Walnut Plant Shoppe, we strive to provide efficient processing times for all orders. Our goal is to have your order ready for shipment within 5-10 business days. However, please understand that this timeframe is an estimation and may vary depending on various factors.
While we make every effort to fulfill orders promptly, there may be instances when processing times extend beyond the estimated range. This could be due to:
- High-order volumes
- Holidays
- Unexpected delays in sourcing materials
- Other unforeseen circumstances
Conversely, there may be instances when we are able to process and ship your order sooner than expected.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding in such situations. Rest assured that we are working diligently to ensure the timely processing and shipment of your order. If there are any significant delays or changes to your order status, we will promptly notify you with updates and provide an estimated revised timeline.
Please note that contacting our curator for updates on your order will not expedite the processing time. We understand your excitement and anticipation, but repeatedly contacting us will not affect the processing speed and may hinder our ability to focus on fulfilling orders efficiently. However, questions in regard to plant health, care, and condition are always welcome and should be brought to attention as soon as a concern may arise.
* Per “Etsy” customers, please do not ask for shipping or tracking numbers from our curator. This information is provided automatically by Etsy after a product has been shipped, therefore verifying shipment. If you have not received tracking information, your shipment has not been shipped.

Shipping + Returns
Shipping is inherently stressful for plants. Minor cosmetic damage and signs of stress are normal. For instance, a broken stem, a slight tear in the leaf, and yellowing. Your plant may lose a leaf or two during its journey or while acclimating to its new home.

Shipping the standard “First Class” is considered not safe for many of our plants. If you choose the standard shipping as First Class this will void the guarantee offered. We encourage and highly recommend the few extra dollars for Priority to ensure the best possible outcome during the shipping process.
Finicky plants and new leaves are especially prone to this. These things are completely normal as a plant acclimates. With the proper care and attention, your new plant will bounce back and thrive. We view this as within the boundaries of normal. Although it is rare that any damages happen, due to the nature of the product it is inherently and naturally a possibility that needs to be considered possible.
Healthy Plant: Shipping can be stressful for plants, and minor cosmetic damage or signs of stress are normal. Your plant may lose a leaf or two during transit or while acclimating to its new environment. With proper care, your plant will bounce back and thrive.
Examples of acceptable transit stress (but not limited to): a broken stem or leaf, a slight tear in the leaf, and yellowing.
Examples of not acceptable transit stress (but not limited to): potting medium spillage which damages the plant to the point of the plant dying, a dead plant, rotten roots, multiple damaged leaves, or multiple broken stems due to careless packaging.
Of course, all of this is contingent on the type of plant that is being referred to. And how such stresses may affect the plant in question.
Guarantee: If your plant arrives dead or in an unacceptable condition due to a packaging error (not shipping, shipping agency negligence, or delays weather-related issues), we will replace it for free or issue store credit if a comparable plant is unavailable.
Your Satisfaction Matters: We strive to earn your trust and ensure healthy plant sales. If you have any issues with your order, please reach out to us, and we will work towards a solution.
Delivery: All plants leave our nursery healthy. Once the tracking number shows the plant as delivered and in good condition If we have not heard from the buyer within the expected time for concerns, we assume the best. That the plant is alive and happy.
Returns: We do not accept returns or offer refunds.
- Shipping Schedule: We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays, and sometimes Wednesdays. This is to avoid plants being in transit over the weekend. Orders placed on Saturday may be shipped in the following week's cycle.
Holding Packages: If significant mail service delays or extreme weather are expected, we may hold packages at our greenhouse for up to two weeks.
Shipping Address: Please ensure your shipping address is correct. In case of an incorrect address, we cannot guarantee a correction but will make every effort to reroute the package.
U.S. Shipping: We currently ship within the United States only.

Timeframe for Image Submission: To ensure a fair evaluation, please provide images of the full plant within 2 hours of delivery to grow@themagicwalnutplantshoppe.com with attention UNBOXING in the subject line, without promptness from you we cannot ensure that steps have been taken to respect the value of the product and your concern. We value promptness in addressing any concerns.
Buyer Responsibility:
This is a plant shop for plant people. We expect our customers to have a clear understanding of what they are purchasing before making a purchase. Our products are intended for individuals who are knowledgeable about plants and understand their specific characteristics and needs.

Concerns about Packaging and Damaged Plants
Timely Reporting: If you have any concerns about packaging failures or damaged plants upon arrival, it is important to address them promptly. We kindly request that you contact us within 2 hours of the tracking delivery time stamp to report any issues.

Ensuring Package Safety: We recommend making arrangements to ensure the safety of your new plant if you are not available to accept the delivery upon its arrival. This will help prevent potential damages caused by negligence, such as leaving the package outside in unfavorable conditions.
